Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo produced a moment of magic when he scored a banger of a goal from range to beat Stellenbosch goalkeeper Sage Stephens.
The 27-year-old latched on to a pass by Kabelo Dlamini before firing a first time shot from distance to beat Sage and find the back of the net in the 63rd minute.
Ndlondlo’s goal proved to be the final nail in the coffin as the Buccaneers went on to secure a comfortable 4-1 victory over Stellenbosch at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
Pirates are now placed fourth on the table with 25 points after 17 games, while Stellies occupies 15th place on the table – level on 17 points with Swallows FC in 14th position.
