Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael says he has given teams until Friday to acquire his services or he’ll remain at the Bethlehem-based outfit, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.

The 58-year-old coach led Ea Lla Koto to their first trophy in 24-years after claiming a 1-0 victory over Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup final at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

The Belgian tactician says if he doesn’t receive any offers before he leaves for his trip to Belgium, he will remain at Ea Lla Koto next season.

‘I have two offers from Belgium. I would like to return to Belgium but it would be for a team I can compete for top five with. No local team have contacted me as yet,’ Eymael said.

‘If nobody comes with any offer this week then I will come back to Free State Stars. That’s what I promised the chairman and I am a man of my word.’

Over the course of his coaching career, Eymael has a vast of experience coaching the likes of Weywertz, Jeunesse Lorraine Arlonaise, RFC Spy, Royal Racing Club Hamoir, AS Vita, Missile, MC Oran, AFC. Leopards, Rayon Sports, JS Kairouan, Al-Nasr, Al-Merrikh, Polokwane City and Stars while winning five trophies in the process.
