Former Baroka coach Wedson Nyirenda has been unveiled as the new head coach of Zambian Super Division giants Lusaka Dynamos.
The 53-year-old tactician, who guided Bakgaga to the 2018 Telkom Knockout Cup trophy, has been clubless since parting ways with the Limpopo outfit in December last year.
However, Nyirenda signed a short-term contact to manage the team for the remainder of the 2019-20 Zambia Super League season, with the option for next season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs hitman will be assisted by Ian Bakala, Josphat Nkhoma and Stephen Mwansa.
‘It is great to be associated with Lusaka Dynamos FC. For the next three months, we shall work tirelessly to see that we end this current season in the best position,’ Nyirenda said in a statement released by the club.
‘If everyone works accordingly, and pulls in the same direction, we can achieve the unthinkable. God will guide us through.’
