Ex-Kaizer Chiefs coach Kosta Papic admits he is worried about Siphelele Ntshangase’s career, calling on the player to be more serious about his life and professional attitude.
The midfielder, who was handed his top-flight debut by Papic at Black Leopards, has not made a single competitive appearance for Ernst Middendorp’s side this season.
Having worked with the creative midfielder before, Papic admits he is worried that he will fail to fulfil his promise if he doesn’t learn to change his style to force himself into the plans at Chiefs.
Speaking to KickOff.com, the Serbian coach said he is worried about the player’s career.
‘Only worried about Ntshangase, he’s a very good player, what is happening with him?’ said Papic.
‘I lost connection [with him] long ago. I bring him to Black Leopard and give him chance to play [sic]. Yes, he have first official match under me.
‘Hope he behave professional right now. [He should be] more serious about his life and professional attitude. [It’s] up to him, he knows exactly what I said. Like many other players, up to him. More fighting for his place in the team.
‘I can’t give him advice about his future from here, only what I said before if he understand. Will be enough. More fighting for his place in the team.’
Papic concluded by saying the player should definitely adjust his style to what was wanted by coach Middendorp.
