Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Emiliano Tade has returned to New Zealand to rejoin his old club, Auckland City.
The Argentinian left New Zealand to join AmaZulu before catching the eye of the Brazilians and sealing a move to Chloorkop after just six months in the country.
The move, however, didn’t go smoothly for the 31-year-old as he constantly struggled with injuries at Downs.
The player then decided to ask the Absa Premiership champions to terminate his contract as he was no longer happy due to the constant injuries and missing his family in New Zealand.

Pitso Mosimane and the club’s hierarchy agreed to release him from his contract in December after failing to convince Tade to stay.
Auckland City have since announced that Tade has joined the club for a third stint, as he looks to extend his record of 97 goals in 143 appearances and pull further ahead as their top-scorer.
