Kaizer Chiefs have been dealt a blow ahead of their midweek clash with Golden Arrows as four of their players have been ruled out through injury while several others remain in doubt.
Top-of-the-table Chiefs will play their third game in seven days when they come up against Steve Komphela’s men at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp revealed that he was disappointed at the crowd’s reaction to bringing off Kearyn Baccus on Saturday and further discussed the injury problems at the club.
‘We should trust the communication more between the players and the technical team, including the physio and medical side,’ said Middendorp.
‘It’s a bit of a disappointment but, as I’ve said, the supporters and fans – you guys [media] – are always right. Continue, no problem.
‘I have the responsibility and I cannot let him [Baccus] go on [with an injury]. We have already George [Maluleka] out and definitely not available for Tuesday.
‘We have Itu Khune out and definitely not available for Tuesday; we have Samir [Nurkovic] out and definitely not available for Tuesday. Reeve Frosler will definitely not be available for Tuesday.
‘I can continue – Dumisani Zuma, I don’t know; Ntiya-Ntiya, I don’t know; we have to work on it in the next few days and that’s it.’
However, the German coach says Njabulo Blom could be set to make his professional debut for the club after he was withdrawn from the Multichoice Diski Challenge team on Sunday.
‘I stopped Njabulo Blom from playing in our MDC game, and he will be probably on the field on Tuesday,’ he concluded.
