Kaizer Chiefs right back Reeve Frosler says he is comfortable playing either on the left or right after he was deployed in the left-back position against Maritzburg United this past weekend.

The Glamour Boys claimed back-to-back wins in the DStv Premiership following their 1-0 victory over the Team of Choice at the Harry Gwala Stadium through a late goal from veteran striker Bernard Parker in the 64th minute to hand them all three points.

The 23-year-old has been ever present in the Amakhosi team at right back so far this campaign, having made six appearances across all competitions and playing a total of 366 minutes of football.

But in the absence of S’fiso Hlanti and Sbusiso Mabilso, Amakhosi head coach Stuart Baxter deployed Frosler in the left-back position instead of his usual right-back spot.

“I don’t mind playing either right or left, it was just nice to play again and, for me personally, I hope to keep working hard and to get some more game time,” Frosler told his club’s official website.

The Soweto giants now turn their attention to the next DStv Premiership clash with AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.

“There’s not been much time to prepare, but we’ve played AmaZulu before and have a good idea of how they play. We know a bit about what they have to offer, we will just look to go again on Wednesday and look to get maximum points again,” added Frosler.

Kaizer Chiefs against AmaZulu kicks off at 5:30pm.
