Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing, Reeve Frosler, has vowed to do his best to help Amakhosi win silverware after joining the club on deadline day.
The 21-year-old signed a pre-contract with Amakhosi earlier in January as he entered into the last six months of his contract with Bidvest Wits.
However, it was confirmed that the talented right back had completed his move to Chiefs on the final day of the transfer window.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Frosler said: ‘This is a big opportunity and I am ready to give it my all.’
‘I have matured a lot since, and I would like to know how it feels to play in a game of that magnitude.
‘It’s my ambition to win trophies with Kaizer Chiefs,’ he concluded. ‘I will do my best in every game selected. I never want to let them down.’
Meanwhile, Amakhosi coach Ernst Middendorp is delighted to welcome Frosler to the Chiefs setup. His new coach is happy to have the defender on board, calling him ‘one for the future’ for Kaizer Chiefs.
‘Reeve is a wing back who can play on either the right or the left. He is one for the future and an investment for the club,’ Middendorp said.
‘Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko have done well at right back and can also give us flexibility at the centre back position.’
