Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Zimbabwean defender Teenage Hadebe has been ruled out for just over a week.
The 23-year-old sustained a head injury during Amakhosi’s narrow 1-0 defeat to relegation-strugglers Baroka at the FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
Hadebe was forced off the field and subsequently replaced by Ryan Moon after colliding with the post while attacking a ball into the area.
The Soweto giants have since released the following statement regarding the defender:
Injury Update : Teenage Hadebe
Mild (Grade 1) Concussion.
Symptoms have improved this morning compared to last night.
Recovery time : 7 – 10days

The former Chicken Inn defender has slowly established himself as a key player in the Amakhosi squad under the guidance of Ernst Middendorp.
Hadebe has since made 15 appearances across all competitions, while grabbing one assist so far this season.
