Highlands Park have dismissed reports suggesting that their players will return to training on 5 May.
Reports in the media have suggested that the club were due to return to training in groups of 20 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the Lions of the North have since denied this and insist they are sticking to government regulations to battle the spread of the deadly disease.
The club have released the following statement:
‘We would like to be categorically clear on the record that our players are still at their respective homes following the lockdown announcement and regulations thereof, while we keep in touch with them using virtual conference connections from time to time.
‘It has been reported in the media that we’ll return to training on 5 May 2020, that’s not correct. We are still waiting for directives from the government and PSL with regard to the next step to take.’
