Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their unbeaten run in the league following their 3-2 victory over Royal AM at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday afternoon through a goal from Thabiso Kutumela and a brace by Peter Shalulile.

The Brazilians now sit comfortably at the top of the DStv Premiership standings with 34 points from 14 games, while Royal dropped down to fourth place on 22 points after 14 matches.

AmaZulu FC fought back to earn a point against Orlando Pirates after playing out to a 1-1 draw in the DStv Premiership match at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium in Durban on Wednesday evening.

Usuthu are now in eighth place in the league standings with 19 points after 15 games, with the Buccaneers one place above them in seventh with 20 points from 14 matches.
