Mamelodi Sundowns stretched their lead at the top of the DStv Premiership to four points after claiming a 1-0 win over Golden Arrows at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Gaston Sirino scored the only goal of the game as Sundowns extended their unbeaten run in the DStv Premiership to seven games.

The win has the Brazilians stretching their lead at the top of the league table to four points over second-placed SuperSport United, with 19 points.

Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United were forced to share the spoils in their DStv Premiership clash after playing out to a goalless draw at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.

The result moves the Buccaneers to sixth place on the log on 10 points, while the Team of Choice are in 11th place with seven.
