Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt says he is more than satisfied with his side’s current form in the Absa Premiership campaign.
The Clever Boys have managed to secure three wins from their first four matches while suffering only one defeat by Baroka at the Bidvest Stadium on 6 August.
However, Wits current occupy second place in the league standings after claiming nine out of a maximum of 10 points and are a point behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
‘I don’t have anything to complain about. If we can collect nine points after every four games, then I will be more delighted,’ Hunt told the media.
‘Even though I’m targeting 10 points in every four matches, I would still be happy with nine.
‘We are not too far behind the leaders – just one, and it goes to show we have been working hard.’
Wits will next take on Eswatini side Young Buffaloes in the Caf Confederation Cup first-round first leg on 13 September before they welcome Orlando Pirates to the Bidvest Stadium on 21 September.
‘Let’s get the Caf game out of the way and then we will be able to talk about Pirates. The plan is to do what we have been doing all along in the league,’ he added.
