Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has alluded to the threat of Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat ahead of the two sides’ Absa Premiership clash on Tuesday night.
Hunt’s team sit at the top of the PSL standings after thumping Free State Stars 3-0 in their league opener at the Bidvest Stadium over the weekend.

When asked his thoughts regarding the Amakhosi’s readiness for the game in the wake of Giovanni Solinas taking over the reins, the former SuperSport United mentor said that despite having a new coach, Chiefs will vie for honours this season.
‘I don’t think they will be vulnerable at all,’ he told the media ahead of the Chiefs clash.

‘They have Billiat, who is very dangerous when play breaks and there’s a turnover of possession.
‘I don’t believe in this thing that there is a right time for this and that. They will compete. They are the biggest team in South Africa.

‘And they have players who have won trophies before, and have all that experience to help them do well.
‘I also think Solinas has got better quality now at Chiefs than during his time at Free State Stars, where he didn’t do too badly with, say, limited resources,’ he concluded.

The two teams are set to do duty at the FNB Stadium with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
