Bidvest Wits admits that his side were not at their best against Orlando Pirates, despite claiming all three points on Saturday.
The Clever Boys claimed their fourth win in the Absa Premiership after securing a 4-3 victory over the Buccaneers at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The win saw Wits moved up to second place in the league standings with 12 points from six games, while Pirates dropped down to eight place with eight point from five matches played so far this season.
Hunt bemoaned the way his side defended their lead against Pirates but is happy to collect three points, despite conceding three goals.
‘Look, well deserved. I thought we were fantastic. That’s not like us to defend like that especially when you get a lead, and I made the change at halftime. I thought we needed to make the changes, change the whole system of the team and were better,’ Hunt told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘But I mean its crazy to play home games away like this; I mean we on the back foot aren’t we? I mean how many thousands for our home game so it was crazy. That’s the first thing.
‘Secondly, we fought and battled. We weren’t at our best. With the change in the structure, I thought we were good.
‘But to let them back in like that right at the end was disappointing. But you got to take three points certainly at the end of the day.’
