Ajax Cape Town have announced that defender Erwin Isaacs has extended his contract with the Urban Warriors after signing a two-year deal.
Isaacs was expected to part ways with the club when his contract expired at the end of the month, but the former Santos midfielder has extended his stay until 2019.
The 30-year-old defender, who joined the Urban Warriors from Bidvest Wits in 2015, was deployed as a right back under coach Stanley Menzo during the 2016-17 season.
The Former Bafana Bafana midfielder played a crucial role in his new-found full back position, which saw him make 30 appearances in all competitions while picking up one assist in the process.
Meanwhile, Ajax have also acquired the services of the First Division top goal-scorer Sedwyn George from Royal Eagles, while also completing a move for Isaac Nhlapo, who signed a pre-contract with the club in January.
