Now heading into their second season under Micho, Pirates will be looking for a good start when they face Highlands Park on Saturday evening.
Club captain Jele revealed that he feels the side is ready for the clash against the Lions of the North.
‘So far, so good. We are ready.
‘Our preparations have been good and now we just have to implement what we have been doing in training this pre-season.
‘We just have to focus on each and every game. We have to try and perform and maintain the standard that we set last season.
‘We performed very well [last season], the supporters are coming to the stadium so we have to challenge [for the league title].’
The clash kicks off at 8:15pm.
