Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson says his side are ready to fight Baroka in the hopes of collecting all three points at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.
Dikwena clinched a 1-0 victory over Mozambique side Unioa Do Songo in their Caf Confederations Cup match at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Saturday.
The 58-year-old coach says Dikwena will give their best to overcome Baroka in the Absa Premiership encounter in the hopes of earning maximum points.
‘It won’t be easy. The top is very tight and the bottom is even tighter. We are going to have to fight to make sure that we come away with the points,’ Johnson told the Platinum Stars website.
Dikwena are currently placed 12th in the Absa Premiership standings with 15 points after winning only three out of 15 matches played so far this season.
Platinum Stars will now travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium when they take on Baroka in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.
Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
