Black Leopards star Lesedi Kapinga says he hasn’t signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns and knows nothing about a supposed deal.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosmane revealed after his side’s exit from the Caf Champions League that the club have already secured three new players to strengthen their squad for next season, but refused to name the players.

Rumours then began swirling that the Leopards forward had signed a pre-contract with the Brazilians.

Kapinga has been one of the shining lights at Leopards this season and has attracted a lot of interest from the big clubs in the league.

The player told KickOff.com that he hasn’t even spoken to anyone from the defending league champions.

‘I really don’t know anything about that,’ said Lapinga.

‘They haven’t talked to me about anything, those people [Sundowns]. I know nothing. I called my agent as well and he told me he knows nothing about that.’
