Zimbabwe international Willard Katsande has put pen to paper to confirm his stay at Naturena for another three seasons. 

The news of Katsande’s contract extension comes amidst much speculation about his future and will please the club’s fans. Katsande’s new deal will run from 1 July 2017 until 30 June 2020, the club confirmed on Monday.

The hard-tackling midfielder, who from Ajax Cape Town in 2011, possesses a South African permanent residence status which allows the Glamour Boys to contract an extra foreign player in their squad.

The midfielder has won a number of individual awards since joining the Glamour Boys, including being selected as Kaizer Chiefs’ best player for the 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 seasons. Katsande has won the Absa Premiership (twice), Nedbank Cup and MTN8.
