Township Rollers coach Nikola Kavazovic has put to bed the rumours linking him with a move to Absa Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs.

Media speculation has been running wild, linking the Serbian mentor with a move from the Botswana club to replace Steve Komphela at Naturena; however, Kavazovic — who recently helped his team qualify for the Caf Champions League group stages — says he is focused on one thing only.

‘No, I never had contact with Kaizer Chiefs. No further comments,’ he told Kickoff.

‘I’m not happy with [the] rumours at all.

‘All my focus is on Rollers and Caf Champions League. And I don’t really have any idea who and why [they] linked me with Chiefs.’

When quizzed about reports suggesting that Free State Stars have made contact with him, the 42-year-old mentor rubbished those claims as well.

‘No, another rumour,’ he concluded.
