Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune believes his side have prepared well for their upcoming Absa Premiership clash with an unpredictable Baroka side on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys will be hoping to make it two wins from two matches when they welcome Bakgaga to the FNB Stadium.
The 32-year-old returned to action last weekend during Amakhosi’s 2-0 victory over AmaZulu in their previous league encounter, after being sidelined for nine months while he recovered from a shoulder injury.
However, Khune insists that his side will have to show their character and remain positive in the hopes of collecting all three points against Baroka.
‘It’s going to be a difficult game against Baroka but we are preparing well for it. The AmaZulu game is hopefully the start of good things to come,’ Khune told his club’s official website.
‘We lost before that against Polokwane City and we showed character to bounce back and win against AmaZulu. We are a big club and we needed to show character and bounce back.
‘We go into this game against Baroka with renewed positivity and encouraged by our last win.’
Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome Baroka to the FNB Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, with kick-off set for 6pm.
