Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune admits his side took time to adjust to Giovanni Solinas’ coaching philosophy, but they have since adapted to his tactics.
The Glamour Boys got off to a slow start this season after failing to secure victory in their first five Absa Premiership games and only picking up four points along the way.

However, it seems Amakhosi has finally turned their fortune around after clinching consecutive victories over Cape Town City and Free State Stars.
Solinas’ side have since moved up to fourth place in the PSL standings with 10 points after seven games.
Khune believes his side are finally starting to gel as a team under Solinas, despite not having a pre-season with their new coach.

‘It took us time to adjust to coach Solinas’ philosophy because he missed out on the pre-season. We’re starting to gel as a team. I’m happy with the new players,’ Khune told his club’s Twitter.
‘We have to go to the second quarter and work hard to regain points lost.’
Kaizer Chiefs will now welcome AmaZulu to the FNB Stadium when the two sides lock horns in the Absa Premiership on Saturday with kick off set for 6pm.
