Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune says he has been impressed with what he’s seen so far from Gutavo Paez since he joining the club during the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old joined the club this week and will now don the Gold and Black jersey with number 28, presented to him by coach Steve Komphela upon signing for the club.
Khune believes Paez will be a great asset to the club having already shown his attacking presence during their friendly matches as they prepare for the second half of the Absa Premiership season.
‘Gutavo is mobile. He is quick and he has been scoring in the friendlies we played. He will bring another dimension to the team,’ Khune told the Kaizer Chiefs website.
Kaizer Chiefs will next welcome Free State Stars to the FNB Stadium when the two side’s meet in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 19:30.
