Siwelele have so far won all three of their opening games under the guidance of Komphela, who took over the helm at the start of the season.

However, in spite of unpaid salaries and strikes, Komphela believes that the turmoil at the club may be responsible for their early success in the Absa Premiership.

‘In everything that is currently happening at the club our focus has been positive,’ Komphela told the Daily Sun.

‘Indirectly what is currently happening in our boardroom has a good impact on the pitch. If what you hear or seen register in your mind in a negative way then your attitude will change to be negative.

‘We have accepted it and put it aside to focus on the job at hand. We had to look at the positives and that has brought us together.’

Komphela has urged his side to remain grounded and take advantage of the break they have before they take on Amakhosi next week Wednesday.

‘We can’t get ahead of ourselves. The only thing we need to do is to accept what we have accomplished at moment and look forward.’

‘The break will help the boys to get a little bit of rest. We will also get an opportunity to have a look at other players that we haven’t used in this two matches,’ he concluded.

Bloemfontein Celtic will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership when they take on Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium next Wednesday, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
