Former Golden Arrows and Chippa United coach Clinton Larsen has officially been unveiled as the new head coach of Polokwane City.
The 48-year-old was without a club for three months after parting ways with the Chili Boys and has now replaced Serbian tactician Zlatko Krmpotic as the new coach of Rise and Shine.
Larsen took charge of his first training session with Polokwane on Friday morning as they prepare to take on Maritzburg United at the Old Peter Milan’s Stadium in the Absa Premiership this weekend.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic coach has since confirmed that he has taken over the helm at Rise and Shine.
‘I joined them yesterday [Thursday],’ Larsen told the media.
‘I had time away [from coaching] to spend some time with my family. As coaches, we don’t have enough time to be with our families. I am refreshed and ready to go again since leaving Chippa two months ago.’
