Phakamani Mahlambi’s agent Glyn Binkin has confirmed that Orlando Pirates has not made any contact with Al Ahly over the sale of the forward.

The 20-year-old has recently been linked with a move away from the club after making just seven appearances in all competitions for the Egyptian side.

According to reports, Mahlambi could be loaned out for the remainder of the season, but his agent has denied rumours linking him to the Buccaneers.

‘I haven’t spoken to Pirates at all, neither has the player. There has been interest from a number of clubs, but I haven’t heard from Pirates at all,’ Agent Binkin told KickOff.com.

Over the course of his career, Mahlambi has scored 10 goals and assisted a further 12 from 39 appearances in all competitions playing for Bidvest Wits and Al Ahly.
