Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela says he is ready to make his debut after recovering from his long-term injury lay-off.

The 27-year-old has has fully recovered from his a knee injury which he suffered during his first training session with Amakhosi in the beginning of the year.
Mahlasela says he is excited to official don the black and gold jersey of Chiefs when they begin their exploits in the Maize Cup over the weekend.
‘I am looking forward to the Maize Cup,’ Mahlasela told his club’s official website.
‘I will be ready and give it my best, if I am given an opportunity to play in our game against Buya Msuthu.’

The attacking midfielder says he is currently enjoying pre-season camp with the rest of the squad following his long-term injury lay-off.
‘It was difficult,’ he admits.
‘I wanted to show everybody what I could do. Instead, I was out for the rest of the season.
‘It’s great to be back in full training with the guys.’
Mahlasela says he is relishing the chance to make an impact on his debut when Chiefs take on ABC Motsepe League side Buya Msuthu in the semi-final of the Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup at Orkney’s James Motlatsi Stadium on Saturday.
‘I want to repay the Kaizer Chiefs supporters and the club’s management for all the support they have given me over the last few months.
‘It was hard, but everybody stood behind me, including our supporters whose backing was such a moral boost. It’s now up to me to repay all those people with my performances on the field.’
