Cape Town City forward Lehlohonolo Majoro insists that the so-called rejects within the team have nothing to prove as the team gear up for the final stretch of their Absa Premiership campaign.
The Citizens have shocked many football fans with their success in their maiden season in the PSL, having already clinched the Telkom Knockout Cup, in addition to challenging for league honours.

Majoro, formerly of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, joined the Citizens in August last year and revealed what has worked for the team in their debut season in the PSL.
‘Most of the players here have been with big teams and it’s just unfortunate that we never got enough chance to express ourselves,’ he told the Sowetan Live after the victory against Chiefs.
‘I’m referring to the likes of Aubrey Ngoma, Lebo Manyama, Tshepo Gumede and Robyn Johannes. Now they are given the freedom.
‘The mistake that people make, is thinking that we are here to prove a point, but that’s not the case,
‘If you are there [in the dressing room] before the game, you can see that this is a united team and that makes us tick,’ he concluded.
City face Maritzburg United in an Absa Premiership encounter on May 1st at the Harry Gala Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
