Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Keletso Makgalwa says he is learning from good and bad experiences to make his footballing journey fruitful.
Makgalwa is one of the youngest players in the Sundowns first-team set-up and has already earned the praise of head coach Pitso Mosimane following his contributions this season.
Since earning promotion to the senior team and making his debut during the 2016-17 campaign, Makgalwa has managed to score three goals and assist a further one from 17 appearances for Sundowns.
The 24-year-old also spent some time on loan at Maritzburg United, where he was a regular in the starting lineup, turning out 19 times for the Team of Choice while bagging one goal.
‘Since the inception of my football career I’ve come to learn that it is important to respect the process, and my time at the Sundowns development is testament to that. Now having made it to the first team my journey continues,’ Makgalwa told his club’s official website.
‘Scoring a few goals in the games I’ve featured in and contributing to the team qualifying for the Telkom Knockout Cup final, are some of my most memorable moments.
‘I know moving forward it is not going to be easy and I’ll make a few mistakes but it’s all a part of how we learn. Never, ever forget to respect the process and for sure your journey will be fruitful.’
