Ajax Cape Town man Tercious Malepe has warned parent club Orlando Pirates that they will be gunning for maximum points when the two sides clash on Wednesday night.
Malepe, who is on loan at the Cape Town outfit, says they are motivated to pick up all three points in a bid to escape the relegation zone.
‘We are looking forward to the game, I am very motivated to do well,’ he told his club’s official website.
‘I am happy to be with the Urban Warriors, I’ve really enjoyed my time here.
‘Orlando Pirates are a very good team, we just need to apply the coach’s instructions and I am sure we will surprise them.
‘It is an important game for us, all we need to do is show character. It won’t be an easy game and they can expect a difficult game. We want all three points,’ he added.
The 20-year-old also thanked the Urban Warriors’ fans for their loyalty and patience during the club’s slump.
‘For the fans, thank you for sticking with us during this tough time. Only way we can thank them now is with a run of good results.
‘I am a fighter, the Pirates players must be ready for a battle on Wednesday,’ he concluded.
