Baroka CEO Morgan Mammila has denied reports suggesting they are interested in making Teboho Moloi their new head coach.
The former Chippa United assistant coach has been linked with a move to Bakgaga after parting ways with the Chilli Boys in September 2017.
However, Mammila has since claimed that the club is not interested in Moloi and is looking for a more experienced coach.
‘To be honest, we are looking for a person who’s more superior [than Teboho]. I’m not saying Teboho is not superior, but the track record of Teboho does not speak volumes,’ Mammila told the media.
‘So we need somebody who has won the league and maybe [Caf] Champions League matches as a bonus.
‘That’s the direction we want to take.’
Bakgaga are currently placed 12th in the league standings with 34 points after claiming seven wins, 13 draws and nine defeats from 29 matches so far this campaign.
Baroka will be hoping to avoid relegation when they take on SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, 12 May with kick-off set for 3pm.
