Kaizer Chiefs attacker Lebogang Manyama is eyeing an improvement in his form following a turbulent start to his career with the Soweto giants.
The 28-year-old is yet to replicate the form which saw him win the PSL Footballer of the Year following his highly-publicised move to Chiefs.
Manyama has managed to find the back of the net once in his eight appearances across all competitions, and urged Chiefs to finish the year on a high by securing victory against his former team, SuperSport United.
‘I grew up supporting Kaizer Chiefs, they are in my heart and that is why I did not hesitate when an opportunity to join a new club came,’ Manyama said to Isolezwe.
‘Looking at the way I started at Chiefs, it is not how I expected to start, but that is life and we can’t predict it.
‘SuperSport is not a club you can easily beat or penetrate. We have to play and work hard because we have lost vital points in our past few games.
‘We have to focus on good things that we have achieved as a club and forget about the bad experiences we have had so far, because we have to finish 2018 on a high,’ he concluded.
Chiefs do duty against SuperSport United on Wednesday night, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
