Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Lebogang Manyama believes their Absa Premiership clash with Bidvest Wits promises to be one ‘hell of a game’.
The Glamour Boys will play Wits in their first game back following the suspension of all football in South Africa since mid-March.
Meanwhile, Wits will be hoping to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat by Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-final this past weekend.
However, Manyama expects a tough showing from Gavin Hunt’s men on Wednesday but insists that he is up for the challenge.
‘I think now they are even more difficult to play against and I think they are still motivated to play for the club. There is history to make for them,’ Manyama told Sowetan Live.
‘Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it in the Nedbank Cup. But Wits will always be Wits, very tough team to play against … it’s going to be a tough game but we are looking forward to it. We have our own plans and we will try to capitalise on their weaknesses but it is going to be a hell of a game, that I can promise you.’
