Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa revealed his delight at lifting the Absa Premiership title in his debut season with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Masandawana secured their eighth league title at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Saturday after playing to a 0-0 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic.
Manyisa, who amassed 27 appearances in the Absa Premiership this season, revealed his delight at lifting the title in his maiden season with Pitso Mosimane’s side.

‘It’s great to be a champion,’ Manyisa told SuperSport TV.
‘We worked very hard this season so we deserved something.
‘When I came here, they told me that I mustn’t put pressure on myself, I must just play football because they know what I’m capable of, and that’s all I needed.
‘The work continues. This is the only time that you’re going to have fun [the final day of the season], with my teammates,’ he concluded.
