Mamelodi Sundowns winger Pule Maraisane is determined to work hard to cement his place in the Sundowns starting lineup after completing his debut season with the Brazilians.

Maraisane spent the 2020-21 campaign at GladAfrica Championship outfit Cape Town All Stars, helping them to a 10th-place finish in the league before joining Sundowns after parting ways with the Cape Town-based outfit at the end of that season.

The 27-year-old only made one appearance for the Tshwane giants in his debut campaign after he came on to play in the final seven minutes of Sundowns’ 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United at the Makhulong Stadium on 3 May.

The former GAIS Göteborg is still in awe after bagging the domestic treble this past season.

“I just wanna say thank you to the fans and thank you to the coaches for giving me an opportunity at the club,” Maraisane told his club’s official website.

“To be honest, I still don’t believe that in my first season I have already won a treble, it has never happened before in my life.

“I just want to say thank you to the fans once again for their support and I am looking forward to working very hard to be in the starting lineup next season.”
