Maritzburg United have further bolstered their squad by officially announcing the signing of Zimbabwean striker Clive Augusto from Chicken Inn.

The Zimbabwe forward has been training with the Team of Choice recently and has done enough to earn himself a contract with the club after impressing coach Eric Tinkler and his technical team.

Augusto has now become the second Zimbabwean signing for Maritzburg this campaign after the arrival of forward Gabriel Nyoni from CAPS United FC.

The 25-year-old arrives from Chicken Inn where he was the leading goal-scorer in Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League after netting 14 goals last season.

The Team of Choice have already added to their squad the services of Kwanda Mngonyama, Judas Moseamedi, Phumlani Ntshangase and Daylon Claasen.
