Baroka then, only a day later, insisted that they had not given the player his clearence despite announcing his release on Twitter.
Despite their certainty over the documents, City met the Premier Soccer League’s dispute resolution chamber to finalise the matter.
The Citizens then confirmed on Tuesday that the midfielder is now a registered City player.
