Orlando Pirates striker Gabadinho Mhango has revealed he would like to reach his objective of scoring 15 goals in the Absa Premiership this season.
The 27-year-old is currently the leading goalscorer in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) with 14 goals, despite not finding the back of the net in his last three games for the Buccaneers.
However, Mhango says he is targeting 15 goals this season, while also stating that Pirates are not yet out of the running for the Absa Premiership title, despite sitting in fourth place in the league standings and eight points behind log-leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
‘My target is 15 goals,’ Mhango said while answering questions from the Bucs fans via the club’s mobile application.
‘The league is not over yet but we will take it a game at a time.’
The Malawi international also revealed that he would like to play in the English Premier League one day.
‘I would like to play [in the] English Premier League because I have always wanted to play EPL [football].’
