Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp refuses to comment on the constant speculation over the future of Zimbabwean striker Khama Billiat.

The 28-year-old has recently been linked with a number of clubs in Africa after his signature, ranging from teams in Egypt, Morocco, Angola and Democratic Republic of Congo.

However, Billiat has also been linked with a return to Mamelodi Sundowns, although Pitso Mosimane remained tight-lipped about the possibility of re-signing Billiat from Amakhosi.

Despite Billiat missing their league opener against Highlands Park last weekend, Middendorp has been reluctant to comment on the future of the Amakhosi star.

‘I don’t want to be part of this speculation. You go there in this moment and ask the management, who are aware about what his [Billiat] contract situation is,’ Middendorp told the media.

‘I think the player knows his contract situation, and for me there’s nothing to discuss.’

When asked about the availability of the attacker, the German mentor insisted that his whole team is available to play against Black Leopards this weekend.

‘Everybody is available for Kaizer Chiefs … Nkosi Ngcobo, Happy Mashiane, Khama Billiat, Rama Mphahlele, Itu Khune; everybody is available for Kaizer Chiefs,’ he added.

‘As for how far they are in the training process, I think that is something that we discuss internally and not in public.’

Kaizer Chiefs against Black Leopards kicks off at 8:15pm.
