Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp was not pleased with his sides performance against Highlands Park, despite claiming maximum points.
Goals from Bernard Parker, Leonardo Castro and Dumisani Zuma helped Amakhosi secure a 3-2 victory over the Lions of the North.
The win sees Chiefs move up to fifth place in the Absa Premiership standings as they put an end to their three-game winless run in the league.
‘We used the first ten minutes with confusion on the other side to get the advantage. We have to look into our two goals, we conceded. Obviously we can do much better,’ Middendorp told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘It’s a little bit excitement what we producing right now, we get 1-0 and then five minutes later we conceded on the goal-line and I don’t know the clearance on the second goal we conceded but we can do better too.
‘We know it, at this moment we are not very confident. At this moment, it doesn’t matter which team we are playing, we have to fight through and the next step will be to play much better and through.’
