Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp believes Amakhosi’s passion and energy have been main contributors to the team’s success this season.

Amakhosi also recently stretched their winning run in the league to seven games after cruising to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC this past weekend.

The Glamour Boys now have a 10-point lead at the top of the Absa Premiership standings, with 31 points from 12 matches played so far this season, despite not playing over the weekend.

Middendorp insists his side will now focus 0n their upcoming clash with Bloemfontein Celtic at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

‘Football is quite easy. Don’t concede and contribute to scoring. We play with passion and energy, and that’s what we need,’ Middendorp told his club’s official website.

‘The break is good when you have all of your players.

‘It is an issue when other players are not available. We will prepare for the next match which is Bloemfontein Celtic on 7 December.’

Kaizer Chiefs against Bloemfontein Celtic kicks off at 8:15pm.
