Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has revealed that star forward Lebogang Manyama could return for the club within the next two weeks.
Chiefs’ struggles in the league continued on Tuesday as they played out to a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows at FNB Stadium, keeping the Soweto giants in seventh.
Chiefs have drawn three and lost one of their last four league games, where they have struggled in front of goal. Now their focus starting to shift to the Nedbank Cup final against NFD outfit TS Galaxy.
Middendorp, though, is hopeful that Manyama could return before the showpiece event and make an impact up top for the Glamour Boys.

‘Manyama is the most qualified player in terms of knowing exactly where he has to be when it comes to decision-making, passing and finishing.
‘He’ll probably come back and have some minutes against Free State Stars in two weeks’ time.
‘It’s disappointing that we still have to wait. We were already on a good trail similar to Joseph Molangoane [who made his first appearance against Arrows since that horrific injury against Stars in August last year], but he [Manyama] got a Grade One muscle issue. He’ll definitely not feature against Celtic on Saturday,’ concluded the German tactician.
