Cape Town City have officially confirmed captain Thamsanqa Mkhize has signed a new contract with the Mother City-based outfit.
Mkhize has recently been attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and China after his impressive performance for Bafana Bafana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament in Egypt, well as his stellar performance for City last season.
However, the 30-year-old has since been rewarded for his services to the club after signing a new three-year contract at City.
