Orlando Pirates midfielder Xola Mlambo admitted that his understanding with teammate Thembinkosi Lorch will aid in the development of the combinations in the team, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The former Bidvest Wits man won the Man of the Match award for his impressive display against SuperSport United in their 3-1 victory over SuperSport United.

Mlambo dominated the midfield battle, but his standout moment came when he played a telepathic back-heel to Lorch who thumped Pirates back into the lead with an emphatic strike into the bottom corner.

Speaking about his assist to the press after the game, Mlambo reminded everybody that his relationship with Lorch all started from their time at Cape Town All Stars at the beginning of their careers.

‘I think I saw Thembinkosi Lorch and we have an understanding because I played with him at Cape Town All Stars.
‘I can read his movements and he can anticipate my passes, it makes everyone’s job easier.
‘The teammates around us, we slowly coming good with combinations. It will show up as time goes by, it is not something will just happen. It need’s time it is a process,’ concluded the player known as ‘Ten Ten’.
