Orlando Pirates have confirmed that duo Xola Mlambo and Vincent Pule will miss their upcoming clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The two sides are scheduled to go head-to-head in a mouthwatering Absa Premiership clash at the Orlando Stadium on Monday.
The Buccaneers currently occupy third place with 40 points after 23 games played, two points behind log leaders Sundowns, who have played the same number of matches following their participation in the Caf Champions League.
However, Pirates’ second assistant coach, Fadlu Davids, has confirmed that Mlambo will miss the clash through injury, while Brilliant Khuzwayo continues to nurse his injury.
‘Xola Mlambo is out [through injury], Brilliant Khuzwayo is still struggling with his knee,’ Davids told the media.
Davids added that Linda Mntambo is also a doubt for the next PSL game, as he recently resumed full training, while Pule is set to serve a one-match suspension and has also been ruled out.
‘Linda Mntambo has just come back from a family obligation and started training today with the team. Other than that, everyone else is fine and available,’ he added.
Orlando Pirates against Mamelodi Sundowns kicks off at 7:30pm.
