SuperSport United winger Aubrey Modiba says Matsatsantsa will fight tooth and nail until the last match of the Absa Premiership is concluded in their bid to clinch the title.
Stuart Baxter’s side occupy fifth position on the table, with 41 points garnered from their 25 matches played in the campaign, and despite sitting ten points adrift of table-toppers Bidvest Wits, Modiba says they will fight until the end.
‘We are going to fight till the last match of the league. At this stage, anything can happen and no one wants to drop points,’ he told the club’s website.
‘We were so unlucky on Saturday, we picked up a good momentum in the dying minutes of the match, but a point is not a bad result at all.
‘We are not going to take this one lightly, we are aiming for three points, so that we stay in the mix at the top.
‘We are aware that our opponents are fighting to move out of the bottom half, but it is not going to be an easy one against us come Tuesday night,’ he concluded.
