Polokwane City chairman Johnny Mogaladi insists that Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates target Thobani Mncwango is not for sale.
The 29-year-old striker, whose contract expires in June 2018, made a total of 15 appearances in all competitions for Rise and Shine while netting three goals in the process.
Despite the rumours linking him to Amakhosi and Pirates, Mncwango has already started pre-season training with Polokwane as preparations for the upcoming 2017-18 campaign.
The clubs chairman revealed that the KwaZulu-Natal-born striker will remain at Polokwane and will see out the remainder of his contract at the club.
‘You can quote me on this‚ Thobani is not for sale,’ Mogaladi told The Sowetan.
‘You must now put this Thobani thing to bed.’
Mncwango finished the 2015-16 Absa Premiership campaign as the second highest goal scorer with 13 goals, one behind top goal scorer Collins Mbesuma.
