Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lucky Mohomi insists he is ready to ‘showcase his talent’ when the Absa Premiership resumes amid to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 29-year-old joined the Brazilians from Free State Stars back in 2016 and has only managed to feature 31 times under coach Pitso Mosimane.
The Mamelodi-born midfielder has been working hard to break into the starting lineup, but a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury has kept him from making a single appearance during the 2019-20 season.
‘Even though it is frustrating sitting outside, it is more of a learning curve and for growth.
‘I believe that now I am ready, and my time is coming for me to showcase my talent.’
Mohomi will be hoping to return to action once the league resumes and add to his winners medals, having already won two PSL titles, the Caf Champions League and a Caf Super Cup medal.
