SuperSport United midfielder Teboho Mokoena has won the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month for January.
The 22-year-old picked up the monthly award after scoring a screamer against Bloemfontein Celtic during their 2-1 win at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on 20 January.
The Bethlehem-born midfielder showed his composure to beat Celtic goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb with a well-taken curler to find the back of the net in the 57th minute of the game.
Other goals nominated for the award along with Mokoena’s effort, who has a knack of scoring spectacular goals, include strikes by Puleng Tlolane, Bernard Parker, Tshwarelo Bereng, Elias Pelembe, Jabulane Maluleke, Hlompo Kekana, Gift Motupa, Mwape Musonda and Matome Kgoetyane.
